A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to complete the Bookshop Survey. We've had some great responses and feedback and I'll be providing some more detail in the near future.
One of the interesting things that stood out is that a whopping 89% of you are interested in attending bookshop events but 56% of you have not been aware of them and 43% of you have been unable to attend due to the timing of events.
This leads me to consider whether Wednesday evenings are the best for our adult-based events!
So I've put together this incredibly short survey (just two questions!) asking which days work best for you. I'd really appreciate if you could complete this so I can consider the timing of events moving forward and hopefully make them accessible to more of you.

COFFEE IS BACK!
As we slide into the ‘ber’ months I'm pleased to say that coffee is back on the menu!
Some of you may be aware of my love-hate relationship with our previous coffee machine which was far more suited to a dedicated coffee shop than to occasional use in a book shop. I've opted for a pod machine which is far easier to use and means I can now offer both standard and decaf options. The coffee is high quality and the pods are recyclable so I'm hoping it's the best fit for the shop going forward.
Sadly cakes will not be on the menu for a while. I LOVE my cake supplier but sadly we just don't sell enough to justify having them in the shop on a regular basis and I don't think my waist line will ever recover from dealing with the leftovers…
