This week's FIVER FRIDAY is a perfect choice for those of you wondering how you're going to fill the next 5-6 weeks…
THE BIRTHDAY BURGLARY is an 18-card escape room experience for one or more players which takes about 60 minutes to solve cooperatively, and introduces a new interactive objects mechanism to gameplay!
When you have solved a puzzle, simply enter the answer into the companion web app (compatible with all smart phones and computers) and check whether you are correct. If you are, the app will tell you which card or cards to take next. The app also contains a graduated hint system, so if you get stuck you can get just a small hint about the current puzzle to get moving again without giving too much away.

It's always a pleasure to have Rob Parker and Steven Kedie in the shop. Both local authors and great pals we enjoyed a great evening of book chat and publisher insights, followed by the now-obligatory hydration break.
