This week's FIVER FRIDAY is a double-bill for all the tired feminists out there!
THE PRINCESS AND THE PRICK: Fairy Tales for Feminists and DIVINE DICKS AND MORTAL PRICKS: Greek Myths and Feminists are parody gift books retelling classic tales in a way you've never heard them before.
These two books would normally cost you £22.98 but are a real bargain this weekend for just £5, plus £4 P&P if required. Simply reply to this email if you'd like to reserve yours.
"May I kiss you, he said.
She didn't answer.
She was asleep.
So he kissed her anyway…"

Independent Bookshop Week celebrates its 20th anniversary this year (something of a theme!) and takes place from Saturday 13th to Saturday 20th June.
We have a great line up of events, offers and giveaways so make sure you keep an eye out for next weeks email for more info!

We had something of a musical double-bill last week!
I headed to Waterside Arts last Saturday to sell copies of PUNK ROCK RUINED MY LIFE by John Robb and hosted Paul Banks in the shop on Wednesday to chat about his book series MANCHESTER SCENE STORIES.
I have a small number of signed copies of PUNK ROCK RUINED MY LIFE available in the shop while stocks last.

This week sees the return of SALE COMIC CON to Stanley Square. I'm gutted I can't be there in person so hopefully you'll all pop in on the way back to top up on your graphic novels and let me know how it goes.

And finally, thanks to everyone who sent Jon and I well wishes for our 20th wedding anniversary on Tuesday. Don't we look young! We had a great day reminiscing and revisiting some of our old haunts in Lancaster.
Hopefully see you in the shop soon.
